Former Ford, Chrysler Executive Bidwell Dies
Ben Bidwell, a longtime executive at Chrysler Group and Ford Motor Co. known for his outspokenness and humor, died on Friday at age 84. Bidwell joined Ford in 1953 and retired in 1990 as chairman of Chrysler. His jobs in between included general manager of the Lincoln-Mercury and Ford brand divisions.
